Share a link so a client can open an invoice and pay online without signing in, and see whether they looked.
A payment link is a web address for one invoice. Your client opens it with no login, sees the invoice number, your firm name, due date, total, amount already paid and the amount due, and clicks 'Pay Now' to pay on the online payment page. The same link works every time and does not expire.
Your role needs permission to edit invoices. The client needs no account.
Under 'Engagement' the same window shows 'Not opened yet', or how many times it was opened, the first and last view dates and how many times 'Pay clicked'. Repeated reloads within a few minutes are counted once, and the invoice history records when the client opened the link.
'Pay Now' takes the client to the payment gateway's hosted page for the full balance still due. When the gateway confirms payment, the invoice updates automatically. When the balance reaches zero the link page shows 'Paid'. For part payments recorded another way, the link always charges the current balance.
