Opt in to emails that fire when cash is projected to run short, a large payment arrives, a large invoice goes overdue, a promise to pay is broken, or payroll cannot be covered.
Cash alerts are emails (and bell notifications) that go out only when something crosses a threshold you set. They are not a weekly report. They are off for every workspace until an admin turns them on in Settings, Cash alerts, and they only ever go to people who can see firm-wide money.
The check runs every two hours. Alerts are not sent in the quiet hours (default 9 pm to 7 am India time); anything still true afterwards goes out at the first check after the window closes. Alerts found at the same check come as one email. By default every admin who can see firm-wide money gets them; tick people under "Who gets these" to choose exactly who. Someone who cannot see firm-wide money is never emailed, even if they are ticked.
Every alert has a key naming the condition (for example the week for a shortfall, or the invoice and the 60-day mark for an ageing alert), so the same condition does not send again. A "wait at least" setting holds back repeat alerts of the same kind. A failed email is retried at the next checks, up to three times.
Every alert ends with a link to change settings and a "Stop these emails" link that stops the emails for that one person. They still see alerts in the bell, and an admin can turn their email back on in Settings, Cash alerts. Turning the master switch off stops everything.
