Keep your own books and each client books in ThynkBooks, opened inside Oris Work.
ThynkBooks is the accounting module. It opens inside Oris Work and signs you in automatically. It appears in the sidebar as Accounting, and on each client page as the Books tab. Your firm's own books are separate from every client's books.
Open Accounting in the sidebar. The first time you open it, your firm's company is created for you from your organisation's details, so you do not see a setup form. Your team member record is set up there too.
On the Books tab, admins see a Client portal row. Pick a date under 'Published up to' and click Publish (or Update). Statements up to that date then show in the client's portal. Click 'Stop showing' to hide them again. Until you publish, the portal shows no statements, so publish once the books are final.
By default every role in your organisation can open Books. Members on a custom role need the 'Books (ThynkBooks)' read permission under Settings → Roles → Client modules. The role you hold is passed through (admin, manager, operator or viewer), and a viewer is read-only inside the module.
If Books is not on for your organisation it does not appear in the sidebar. Opening the page directly shows 'ThynkBooks isn't switched on for your workspace'. An admin can add a note and click 'Request ThynkBooks' and the Oris team will follow up. A lapsed subscription is explained on the same page and your data is kept.
